How is this different from a regular voicemail or service like Google Voice?
A voicemail records a message. Receptionist actually answers — taking reservations, triaging service calls, answering FAQs, and booking appointments. Your callers talk to a real-feeling AI, not a robot menu.
Do I need to write prompts or be technical?
No. Pick your industry, fill in a short form (hours, services, FAQs, after-hours rule, handoff number), and we generate your AI's instructions. Power users can edit the raw prompt in the advanced tab.
What does it cost?
$0.30 per minute of AI talk time. No monthly fee. Top up credits and pay only for what you use.
Can the AI transfer calls to me?
Yes. Set a handoff number in your dashboard and tell the AI when to transfer (e.g., emergencies, complex requests). The AI will route the call to you.
Where does the AI voice come from?
We use Vapi under the hood — a best-in-class voice infrastructure. You get high-quality natural voices without having to assemble the stack yourself.
What happens when my balance hits zero?
Calls stop being answered until you top up. If you have auto-recharge on, your saved card refills your balance automatically when it dips below your threshold.
Is the call recorded?
Yes, transcripts and recordings are saved to your dashboard. We default to including a 'this call may be recorded' disclosure in the AI's first message (you can toggle it off if you're not in a recording-consent state).
